On the 5th day, get ready to visit the Badrinath Temple to pay homage early in the morning. After darshan, you will come back to the hotel for having breakfast. Thereafter, leave the hotel for sightseeing. Visit Mana Village - inhabited by Indo-Mongolian tribe. It is the last village on the Indo-Tibetan border. Next you will visit Vyas Gufa - the ancient cave where sage Vyas stayed while writing the four Vedas, Ganesh Gufa - the cave where Lord Ganesha composed Mahabharata, the Hindu epic, and Mata Murti Temple - placed on the banks of River Alaknanda. It is dedicated to Mata Murti, mother of Nara and Narayana.
After the sightseeing tour, hit the road to arrive at Rudraprayag. En-route halt at Karnaprayag, the confluence of River Pindar and River Alaknanda. It is one of the Panch Prayag of River Alaknanda. Continue to the holy town of Rudraprayag, the confluence of Rivers Alaknanda and River Mandakini. On reaching, check-in at the hotel in Rudraprayag. The rest of the time is at your leisure. You can spend some time on the bank of the river or stroll around the streets of the city.
